The first single of Nadia’s highly anticipated EP “Lovology”; “Took My Soul” represents the battle one has with oneself when it comes to loving someone so much that they lose themselves. As a result, that person gives so much, they end up giving up on their mental well-being. Many of us have been there at some point in our lives In a dark place where sadness drowns our dreams, confusion spins our heads and hopelessness numbs our hearts; it is easy to say that we have to put all the pains and our pasts behind us so that we can move on but, the struggle can be more challenging for some than others.

“Dedicating this song to all those who are battling mental health issues. Whether it is depression, anxiety, bipolar, etc. I want this song to bring more awareness to Vancouver about the mental health problems we have. Let’s stop sweeping it under the rug and face the truth! This also includes the mental facilities, doctors and nurses in practice. We need to come together as one. Help our community. My cure is to start with music – the universal language that speaks to all. I call it LOVOLOGY.” – Nadia D’ore

Classically trained and majored in jazz music. Nadia has been in the arts since the age of 4. Studied dance, jazz, ballet and hiphop. She also studied acting and Modeling. With her 5'9 frame at the age of 18 she was given the opportunity to go to school on a music scholarship at Douglas college where she furthered her passion for classical and jazz music.
